Planes of Fame 2025 Recap

GearHead Society's 3rd Annual "Planes of Fame" event at the Planes of Fame Air Museum in Chino, CA, brought together car and aviation enthusiasts for an unforgettable experience. Held on February 22, 2025, this unique show seamlessly blended car culture with historic aviation in a one-of-a-kind venue.

The outdoor show floor featured over 150 custom vehicles, from modified imports to lifted trucks and classics. The crowd was electric with energy as attendees explored rows of curated builds while planes taxied and soared in the backdrop — creating an atmosphere like no other.

A major highlight of the day was the 2-Step Competition, where participants flexed their builds in front of a roaring crowd. The energy was insane — cheers, revs, and flames filled the air. In between competitions, live entertainment kept the vibe going with music, dance, and giveaways.

Inside the museum hangars, guests explored a collection of WWII-era planes and historical exhibits, offering a rare look at aviation history while enjoying the car scene outside. Vendors, food trucks, and sponsors rounded out the event, making it a full-day experience for all ages.
